Last week, an eclectic mix of socialites, editors and designers gathered for an elegant luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City. The occasion? Celebrating the venerable Studio Museum in Harlem, home to nearly 2,000 works of art from more than 400 Black artists of both American and African descent.
Guests celebrated the museum and honorees of this year’s Spring Luncheon in style. Dainty dresses, posh purses and pretty pumps set the tone for a stylish celebration of the museum and its 2011 honorees.
