For the first time ever, Essence Fest 2019 launched Wellness House, a curated experience designed to relax your body, refresh your mind and rejuvenate your spirit in a serene space full of positive vibes.
Held at the Lighthouse Glass Gallery, a mile away from the convention center’s buzzy crowds, Wellness House served as a zen getaway for festivalgoers to get right – mind, body, and soul. Celebrity trainers Nicole Chaplin and DaShan Johnson got their classes fired up with muscle-sculpting workouts while Trap Yoga Bae and Jetset Pilates got us flexing and finessing. Melanie Fiona dropped some gems about how to manage our health and spiritual healing. And let’s not forget Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker giving us the full download on their new fitness app “Kofit.”
