If you’re not familiar with viral superstar That Girl Lay Lay, then you’ve gotta catch up. She’s a young rapping sensation, who at 11-years-old became the youngest female rap artist to sign a record deal when she joined Empire.
Lay Lay, real name Alaya High, earned recognition from artists like Quavo and T.I. and stunned even daytime talk show host Ellen Degeneres with her incredible skills.
This weekend, the tween performed at Essence Festival’s Center Stage, where her young fans got to watch and feel inspired as Lay Lay owned the stage, performing songs from her debut album, The Cheat Code, which dropped last year.
If you couldn’t make this year’s Essence Festival, then you’re in luck.
You can check out Lay Lay’s performance above and watch her rock the stage like a pro.
