The NAACP commenced night two of the 54th NAACP Image Awards yesterday; announcing the second round of winners in the non-televised award categories, which included outstanding literary, variety show, reality program, news information awards and more.
Last night’s winners included Jennifer Hudson for Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information, Tabitha Brown for Outstanding Host in a Reality/Reality Competition, Trevor Noah for Outstanding Variety or Game Show, Viola Davis for Outstanding Literary Work – Non-Fiction “Finding Me,” among several others.
The NAACP will continue to recognize winners in non-televised Image Awards categories virtually until February 23 online and at an Awards Dinner and Program the following day. The dinner will be hosted by actress Bresha Webb, with presenters that include Coco Jones, Dominique Thorne, Tichina Arnold, Amber Riley, Paula Newsome, April Ryan, Skai Jackson, Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High, Angie Martinez, Niecy Nash-Betts, Tobe Nwigwe, Tye Tribbett, Armani White, Wendell Pierce, and the cast of Prime Video’s Harlem.
Artist, actress, producer, author, and entrepreneur Queen Latifah will host 54th NAACP Image Awards premiering live Saturday, February 25 at 8:00 pm ET/PT on BET. The live show will also simulcast across Paramount Global networks including BET HER, CBS, CMT, Comedy Central, LOGO, MTV, MTV2, Paramount Network, POP TV, Smithsonian, TV Land, and VH1.
