When you have tons of cash and you’re labeled as one of the most powerful women on the face of the earth, there’s no distance you can’t travel. Back in May, in the midst of her world tour, Beyoncé finished up a show at London’s O2 Arena, flew to New York for the 2013 Met Gala and flew back to London for her next show in a matter of hours.
Years ago on her BDay tour, Beyoncé took a nasty spill down a set of stairs while performing “Ring the Alarm.” Although it looked pretty bad, and you could hear a collective gasp, she kept on dancing like a trooper. Had it been anyone else, the show would have ended.
So, having watched her live in concert, it’s clear the sista gets a full workout on stage with about two hours of top-notch choreography. But to do that… say 110 times in the span of a year? That’s what we call dedication. By the end of 2013, she will have put on 100 plus shows and danced hundreds of hours on stage. And that’s not counting rehearsals!
Beyoncé dropped her self-titled fifth album complete with 17 music videos on Friday, December 13th. Fans from across the globe are hailing the project “game changing.” It’s certainly the first of its kind. What’s more incredible is that she and her impressive team have been able to keep this a secret for so long. Yes, she’s been spotted doing little things here and there, but no one thought it would come together quite like this.
