Eighteen years later, TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz Watkins have still got major moves. The duo reunited last night to perform at the American Music Awards, with a little help from Lil Mama, who took the place of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
Decked in all white, Chilli and T-Boz kicked off the performance by paying tribute to Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes on a giant screen projected on stage. Lil Mama—who recently played Left Eye in the VH1 biopic Crazy Sexy Cool—then joined them on stage for a performance of the group’s 1996 hit “Waterfalls.”
Watch above and tell us you agree that Lil Mama’s performance was spot on.
