Migos might be one of the hottest groups right now, but that doesn’t mean they are without the drama that comes with the entertainment world.
The rap group found themselves at the center of two different altercations at the BET Awards last night. At the BET pre-show, Migos sat down with Complex News for a red carpet chat. During the conversation, DJ Akademiks, co-host of “Everyday Struggle,” said to Takeoff, “I feel like that’s a running joke…with you being left off ‘Bad and Boujee.’”
Takeoff simply replied with “I ain’t left off ‘Bad and Boujee.’ You think I left off ‘Bad and Boujee.’”
Apparently DJ Akademiks had a hard time hearing the rapper over the loud red carpet and asked him to repeat himself a few times. Once DJ Akademiks and Complex anchor Nadeska Alexis understood Takeoff, Joe Budden, who was also hosting for Complex, dropped his mic to the ground to end the interview.
The entire group stood up to confront Budden as Alexis tried to break them up and asked for a security guard right before the footage stops. Watch the video on Budden’s Instagram below:
However that wasn’t the only encounter Migos faced Sunday night. According to TMZ, the group also had a scuffle with Chris Brown and his entourage when they were all walking into an after party at the same time. Reportedly, someone in Brown’s entourage shoved Quavo, who is allegedly dating Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran.
Although Brown didn’t engage in any of the shoving or punching, reports claim that Migos and their crew followed Brown and his entourage to their car and surrounded them. Cops were called but no arrests were made. Watch footage of the heated altercation below:
Can’t we all just get along?!
