Hosted by our favorite gal next door, Regina Hall, the BET Awards was the final event of this weekend’s BET Experience. It lived up to the hype with a red carpet chocked full of epic hair moments, and all the reasons why we love our beauty. At a time when beauty diversity, colorism, and brand “wokeness” are dominating the conversations around Black beauty, it’s refreshing to see the stars and influencers hit these red carpets with no holding back. From the top stars in music, television, and more, we saw just how magical our coils, curls, and melanin can get.
