Next month, self-proclaimed legend Kanye West will join a list of time-honored legends at the BET Honors, where he will be presented with the Visionary Award, reports The Associated Press.
Previous honorees include Maya Angelou and Whitney Houston, and now, Yeezy can join the winner’s circle.
The awards show will be hosted by Wayne Brady and will honor four other trailblazers: Phylicia Rashad (Theatrical Arts Award), Usher (Musical Arts Award), the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art Directory Johnneta Betsch Cole (Education Award), and Former Microsoft Chairman John W. Thompson (Technology and Business Awards).
The show will be taped next month and is scheduled to air on February 23.
