Leading the pack was #HiddenFences, which referenced Jenna Bush’s shameful inability to correctly state the name of the “Hidden Figures” film during a now-infamous red carpet interview with Pharrell earlier in the night. As if #HiddenFences itself wasn’t funny enough, Black Twitter took the reigns and followed up with #GoldenGlobeErrors, which resulted in a host of Tweets purposely butchering other classic Black movie titles as another way of highlighting the ridiculous mishap.
As we continue to celebrate the history-making wins and marvel at the unforgettable red carpet Black Girl Magic moments, here’s a look at the funniest of the #GoldenGlobeErrors hashtag.
