Uzo Aduba may star as a crazed prisoner on Orange Is The New Black, but the actress cleaned up perfectly at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards. The star wore a full face of Giorgio Armani Beauty that was inspired by makeup artist Janice Kinjo’s vision of classic Hollywood glamour. Think you can create this look at home? Try it and let us know how you did below!
FACE:
First Kinjo applied Fluid Master Primer to create a solid base for the entire look. Next she added Fluid Sheer (#3) on top of Uzo’s cheek bones and on her forehead to add a little light under the foundation and create a dewy, bronzy effect. Kinjo then used Luminous Silk Foundation (#10, #11.5, #14) to cover and contour. She used #10 on Uzo’s t-zone and under her eyes, then mixed #11.5 and #14 for shading. Kinjo blended and blurred using the Blender Brush. A combo of Cheek Fabric #200, #506 and #509 were applied to the apple of the cheeks to provide a pop of color.
EYES:
Kinjo filled in Uzo’s brows with a dark brown Eye & Brow Maestro #2 to build a strong frame for the eye. She then applied Eye Tint in #6 – a green silver shade – to the entire lid to provide an all-over shimmering effect. She used #7 – a deep silver – in the outer corners to create a smoky cat eye that lifted Uzo’s entire eye. To open the eye further, she added Eye Tint #12 – a champagne shade – to the inner corners. Kinjo used her fingers to blend the Eye Tints. To build out the smoky cat eye, Kinjo used Eyes to Kill Solo eyeshadows #1 and #16. She lined the eye to build definition and ended with a few layers of mascara to complete the look.
LIPS:
Kinjo used plum lip liner #11 to cover the entire lip—matching the little bit of red in her dress to pull the entire look together.
