The Grammy nominations are in!
This year’s nominations mark two historical occasions: Chance the Rapper’s seven noms make him the first streaming-only artist to be nominated, while Beyoncé’s nine make her the most nominated woman in history, bringing her total to 62 Grammy nominations throughout her career.
If Bey wins, she’ll knock bluegrass-country singer Alison Krauss from the top spot for female artist with the most wins and become the second most-winning artist in history.
There were also plenty of unexpected nominations and snubs, which had everyone in their feelings. So of course, following the announcements, everyone took to Twitter to voice their excitement, disappointment, and predictions.
Oh my god, I didn't even realize that. Desiigner really did get nominated for a Grammy before Future pic.twitter.com/shXuFkbGMB

Solange made an album that she plainly said wasn't for white people. Of course she wasn't getting a Grammy nod.

Honestly, I will not be surprised if Beyoncé doesn't win big. But she put on for the black girls this year and that truly matters to me. pic.twitter.com/KzU1vhsR4m
