The 2014 MTV Video Music Award nominees were announced Thursday morning and Beyonce’s self-titled visual album put her in the lead this year with eight nominations.
The “Partition” singer is up for Video of the Year, Best Female and Best Collaboration, and more.
Hubby Jay Z also received several nominations along with Pharrell Williams, and Jason Derulo.
Depending on where the moonmen land, Beyonce, who already has 12, could find herself with the second most career VMA wins (the spot is currently held by Lady Gaga and Peter Gabriel who have 13; Madonna leads with 20)
Other nominees include Kelly Rowland, Drake, Childish Gambino, Kanye West, John Legend, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, J.Cole, and Michael Jackson.
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will air live August 24, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
