The 2014 Peoples Choice Award nominations were announced today and a number of our favorite stars were recognized for their work in TV, film and music.
In the Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress category, Oprah received a nomination for her role in Lee Daniels: The Butler (as we knew she would), and Halle Berry earned a nomination for her dramatic role in The Call.
As for daytime TV, Steve Harvey earned a nomination for his talk show, while Arsenio Hall and Queen Latifah picked up nods in the Favorite New Talk Show Host category.
On the music front Drake, Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis go head-to-head in the Favorite Hip-Hop Artist category. For the R&B lovers, Alicia Keys, Ciara, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Robin Thicke are nominated in the Favorite R&B Artist category.
And of course Lee Daniels: The Butler and Prisoners, latter which starred October cover star Viola Davis, received nominations in the Favorite Dramatic Movie category.
Fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in each category until December 5th, with the ceremony slated to air on January 8th on CBS.
