Diddy, who was very close to Heavy D, is scheduled to speak at his memorial service on Friday along with Rev. Al Sharpton. Following Heavy D’s passing, Diddy released this statement, “He was a wonderful human being, who inspired and paved the way for a Hip Hop generation. We were like brothers — I will miss him more than words can express.”
