History making, Tony award-winning Broadway star Leslie Odom, Jr. will soon make his exit from Hamilton.
The Hollywood Reporter announced on Sunday that the singer and actor will leave the hit production July 9th.
Odom, who stars as Aaron Burr, has his sights set on lending his talents to other projects and confirmed his official exit during a Facebook Live stating, “It has just been the most completely wonderful, totally healing and inspiring experience from beginning to end. I will never forget the people that I’ve met here. I will never forget all of you.”

Just a few weeks ago, Odom scored a Tony win for his portrayal as Burr for the Best actor in a musical.
His departure, however, doesn’t come as much of a surprise as the show’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is soon to exit the virtually sold-out show along with Phillipa Soo.
We wish Leslie the best in what is to come and can’t wait to see what’s next!
