Tuesday, we learned that a photo from Vogue’s September 2018 issue, shot by Tyler Mitchell, was acquired by the Smithsonian Institute. The portrait of Bey, where she flaunts her natural hair in cornrows making the piece an instant classic, will be on permanent display at the National Portrait Gallery.
