Yesterday, YouTube held its #YouTubeBlack FanFest at Morehouse College in Atlanta. The festival brought fans together with YouTube creators for a night of performances and fun-filled panels. Guests such as Nyma Tang, Jackie Aina, and Alissa Ashley were amongst the beauty influencers in attendance whose content garners millions of views for the social media site monthly.
While the event was casual enough that no red carpet gowns were expected, guests still made sure their hair and makeup were on point. As YouTube stars and influencers are accustomed to being in front of the camera, you can always expect them to give a lewk when an occasion calls for it.
The memo must have been fresh face chic because they all nailed it. Makeup was minimal with flawless skin as the focus. And hair styles were mostly long ‘dos in a variety of colors and textures. While Morehouse’s official homecoming isn’t until next weekend, this was the perfect sneak peek into the level of Black girl dopeness that can be expected.
