Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

The Beauty Beat is your chance to catch up on the week’s most exciting hair, skin and makeup news. Here is what you missed:

1. Makeup master and lip kit extraordinaire Pat McGrath continues to make power moves. This month, she brings legendary beauty brand, Max Factor, back to the States by way of a capsule collection that pays tribute to Old Hollywood. Find out how you can get your hands on the mascaras, liners and lipsticks here.

We are so excited to officially announce our collab with @katvondbeauty! Inspired by love, true friendship and a passion for makeup, because we are BETTER TOGETHER. Get ready to fall in love… #toofacedxkatvond #toofaced

2. Behold, a first look at the highly anticipated Kat Von D and Too Faced beauty collaboration! If the packaging is any indication, expect this mystery product to be the perfect mix of Kat’s gothic aesthetic and Too Faced’s fun and feminine appeal. Whether it be shadow, liner or some combination of both, our eyes (and wallets) are ready. Learn more about the exciting release here.

We’re falling for these shades😍 Designed by celebrity makeup artist @dmartnyc, our new makeup palette allows you to blend and build depending on your mood. Link in bio to shop or visit HonestBeauty.com. #HonestBeauty

3. Jessica Alba’s Honest Beauty turns one year old this year and will celebrate in a big way. James Park, General Manager, of the Honest Company sub-brand, tells WWD that it will soon expand to include new hair care, an extension of the color line and its first ever brand ambassador. The brand will also be available in 20% more retail locations by year’s end. Preview some of the new makeup kits here.

4. We didn’t think Urban Decay could top the June release of its 100-piece Vice Lipstick Collection. Thankfully, they’re proving us wrong. Last week, the brand gave Snapchatters a sneak peek of their first ever Lipstick Palettes! Like the cult favorite “Naked” series, this is your chance to sample various lip colors without buying an entire tube. Click here to preview “Junkie” and  “Blackmail.”
