When it comes to makeup and fashion, Lupita Nyoung’o can do no wrong. The newest ambassador of Lancome cosemtics was recently honored at the 2014 Glamour Woman of the Year Award where she flaunted a couture dress and Hollywood-inspired makeup. To compliment the silver and gold jeweled accents on her gown, celebrity make-up artist Nick Barose put in work and gave the dashing honoree a metallic eye and satin-finished lip.

Before using foundation, Barose applied Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate as a moisturizer all over the face. Next GÉNIFIQUE EYE LIGHT PEARL Illuminating Youth Activating Concentrate is applied underneath the eye to luminate and brighten the face for a refreshed and youthful look. Lastly, LA BASE PRO PORE ERASER Instant Pore Erasing and Mattifying Primer is applied all over the face just before the foundation.
To achieve a flawless face, Lupita used NUDE MIRACLE Liquid-To-Powder Makeup in Suede 530 and TRANSLUCENCE Mattifying Silky Pressed Powder in Suede 550 on top to set the liquid foundation. To further accentuate her striking features, Barose used Le Corrector Pro Concealer Kit in Suede 550 to brighten the natural highlights of Lupita’s skin. To warm the face, Barose used BLUSH SUBTIL Delicate Powder Blush in Shimmer Brilliant Berry on the cheeks for a rosy finish. To make Lupita’s eyes pop, Baros filled in her brows with LES SOURCILS DEFINIS Brow Expert and applied shadow from the COLOR DESIGN 5 PAN EYESHADOW PALETTE in Kissed by Gold all over the lid for an instant glam look and he topped off the eye look with LE STYLO WATERPROOF Long Lasting EyeLiner in Minuit.
Lupita’s lips were lined with LE LIPSTIQUE in Sheer Chocolat and filled with a beautifullt sultry lipstick called L’ABSOLU ROUGE in Jezebel.
