When it comes to innovation, it there are very few lines that excite me as much as Chosungah 22. With vanity-worthy packaging and uber cool products like a 2-in-1 foundation and serum that lets you customize hydration.

We love a good cushion foundation. For heavy handed beauty girls who may not be so skilled with a brush, cushion foundations compensate for where your skills lack to give you that flawless finish and even coverage that you double-tap on Instagram. In addition to a flawless finish, the Givenchy Teint Couture Cushion Foundation is lightweight and super hydrating, making it perfect for year-round use. Sadly, the line is only offered in six shades, but if you are more of a honey brown hue, then you’re in the clear.

As a skincare buff, Dr. Jart+ is definitely my go-to line for all things skin, so of course with the expansion into color I was egar to try their new BB cream to supplement my foundation as the warmer months approach. It’s only offered in one, shade, but fair-skinned beauties can certainly reap the benefits of this fabulous skin+color duo.

Gluten-free and cruelty-free makeup enthusiasts love Jane Iredale. I love this texture of this concealer and how buildable it is —it is a master at hiding hyperpigmentation— but with only two shades offered, it doesn’t cater to women of deeper or fairer shades.

For warmer months, cheek gels are the perfect compliment to sun-kissed skin, delivering optimal flush without the weight or look of being made up. We love this formula from Too Cool for School, it’s lightweight and leaves a dewy finish for all-day wear.

Chock-full of skin loving ingredients like aloe and agar, this powder foundation mattifies oily skin and still leaves a luminous glow. If you are fairer skinned and fall within the spectrum of the 5 shades offered, this could be your new favorite.

When it comes to luxe beauty, By Terry is at the top of your beauty favorites. For fair to honey-hued beauties, this CC cream works wonders. We love the formula, but the selection of four shades is not universal.

Skincare beauty maven, Eve Lom has taken the skincare industry by storm with her array of luxe products. Her Radiance Perfected Tinted Moisturizer feels like silk on skin and it even doubles as skin care —it’s an SPF, super hydrating and it stimulates your skins natural production of hyaluronic acid (hello, plump, glowing vibrant skin!). Sadly, the deepest hue offered it a warm copper-y shade with yellow undertones called “honey.”

Pixi is a cult-favorite beauty product for both price point and efficacy, and with summer quickly approaching, bronzer is a must have. We love the way this powder bronzer feels on skin, but it only suits medium shades.

My daily skincare regimen always has Perricone MD in full rotation, so when they expanded into color, I was beyond excited to try it. Unfortunately, it’s only offered in one shade and it’s a bit to light for my complexion; but it feels amazing on skin. Hopefully they’ll expand their color category soon.
