If one iconic cover wasn’t enough this morning (Beyonce, Elle UK), American Vogue released its 4th cover for its January issue featuring Cardi B. The rapper, actress, and designer posed in a red polka-dot Michael Kors dress and Jimmy Choo heels with 17-month-old Kulture bawled up in her moms’ arms – who by the way, delivered the cutest smile.
Cardi who loves to sport a colorful wig and corresponding makeup look switched up her usual get up for a soft glam finish that included damp black wet hair and a light beat. In the issue, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper can be seen posing in a high-rise while sporting luxe couture gowns.
This issue concludes Vogue’s celebration of motherhood by putting four mothers on their January covers. Other cover stars include supermodel Ashley Graham and designer Stella McCartney. “It’s kind of like a friendship now, and it’s hard to leave your little friend,” Cardi tells Vogue as she describes becoming a new mother.
The Cardi B x Vogue cover is set to release this December.
