Marsai Martin made history as the youngest person in Hollywood ever to executive-produce a major movie. It was quite a feat for the then 13-year-old actress, whose film Little grossed nearly $50 million.
More than a year later, with producer added to her list of monikers, Martin is still at it. She recently completed shooting for another season of the ABC hit series black-ish and promoting the Essilor 20/20 Vision Pledge, all while hitting red carpets and winning awards.
Somehow, she also finds time to get dolled up and inspire our girls to tap into their passions and celebrate their inner beauty.
She credits her own awareness less to maturity and more to her family. “I think confidence is in my genes,” she reflects. “I have a whole group of people who just love life and love with confidence.”
