If the stress of having an open bottle of nail polish remover out keeps you from doing a manicure at home, consider this new product a total game changer. Hand and foot treatment brand Nail-Aid has launched a line of aerosol nail polish remover sprays that don’t leak and can’t be spilled.
The bottle and dispenser is similar to a sunscreen spray with a twisting lock top. While we wish we could say you simply spray it on your nails and your polish disappears—that would be too good to be true, right?—it’s still very easy to use. Instead, you spray the formula onto a cotton ball or pad and then swipe off polish. (The brand actually warns against spraying the remover directly on polish as it can become tacky and hard to remove.)
Take your pick between an acetone or non-acetone formula. While acetone is known for being harsh, the company promises this won’t dry out your nails, thanks to hydrating and nail strengthening ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen, keratin, cocoa butter, ceramides, and coconut oil. Bonus: The mist is also paraben, phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde, sulfate, and cruelty free.
We haven’t gotten a chance to try it out for ourselves, but, judging by the reviews, it looks like this new nail polish remover gets the job done on anything from bold reds to stubborn glitter.
