Happy Thanksgiving! As we find time to celebrate the holiday season, did you know that some of your favorite holiday foods make the best skincare treatments? We asked Maile Pacheco of beglammed to offer three DIY recipes for your at-home holiday beauty regimens. Enjoy!.
Recipe #1: Pumpkin Pie Facemask (For Conditioning and Exfoliating)
1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (natural vitamins condition and exfoliate the skin)
½ tablespoon plain Greek yogurt (hydrates, exfoliates, and soothes skin)
2 teaspoons honey (locks in moisture an eliminates bad bacteria on the skin)
½ teaspoon of cinnamon (clarifies skin)
Mix the ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Spread a thin layer of the mixture on your face and let it set for about 5 to 10 minutes. Don’t be freaked by the tingly feeling, that’s just the enzymes from the yogurt working to hydrate and gently exfoliate your skin. Rinse with warm water and moisturize.
