When it comes to red carpets, there’s no greater fashion event of the year than the Met Gala. Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, this year’s theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”
As you would imagine, there was no shortage of divine offerings in the style and beauty department. Among the A-list guests to arrive in their elaborate crowns and couture gowns adorned with religious references was the ever-stylish Solange.
Though her sister Beyoncé didn’t make an appearance at the annual fundraising event, Solange graced the red carpet, looking like an absolute goddess in a black latex getup with thigh-high boots. The “Don’t Touch My Hair” singer also gave us plenty of hair inspo, with her platinum blonde tresses expertly woven into a braided halo crown and topped with a black du-rag.
