It’s time to ditch the camera filter.

Every bit of the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was simply angelic. The lingerie brand tapped the folks from Charlotte Tilbury to produce an “angelic filter” for the runway models. Here’s how they did it:
First they prepped the skin. Never forget that skin care is just the beginning to a flawless makeup routine. The makeup artists prepped each model’s face with a face mask and eye patches to achieve a glow.
After they discarded the masks, the makeup gurus applied Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Face Primer to maintain the skin’s radiance. Major key! Then light strokes were used to apply Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow contour palette to prominent facial features like the bridge of the nose and cheekbones.
The makeup remained light and fresh: The models’ eyes were touched up with Victoria’s Secret Major Lashes Full Volume Mascara, and Charlotte Tilbury’s rosewood taupe shade from its Bigger Brighter Eyes eye shadow palette was lightly applied to the eyelids and the bronze shade was applied to the corner of each eye. Then a little brow fill-in, with Victoria’s Secret Brow or Never Eyebrow Gel, and the Victoria’s Secret Velvet Matte Cream Liquid Lip in Showstopper topped with a light gloss completed the look.
Jasmine Tookes, Duckie Thot, Winnie Harlow and all of our favorite models looked like goddesses as they walked the Victoria’s Secret runway. We’re definitely going to attempt to re-create this dreamy trend.
“The look is an angelic filter for the face that enhances what nature has naturally blessed you with—with this look you will cast a spell on the world!” said lead makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury in a statement.
