It’s safe to say that Zendaya’s summer so far has been nothing short of euphoric. The actress has taken on several exciting new roles this season, and fans are elated. In addition to staring in HBO’s Euphoria, the 22-year-old also plays Michelle in the summer blockbuster Spider-Man: Far From Home. And today, Lancôme announced that Zendaya will be the face of Idôle, their first feminine fragrance.
“We are excited to be able to create a fragrance for a new generation of women questioning the status quo, breaking free from tradition and redefining the meaning of success,” shared Lancôme’s Global Brand President, Françoise Lehmann. So, it’s no wonder why the brand tapped the gen Z star for the role.
“Idôle is a strategic launch for Lancôme, the first luxury beauty brand in the world, and we are delighted to present it with Zendaya.”
Zendaya is equally excited about the opportunity.
“I am thrilled to be the face of this new Lancôme fragrance. Idôle is a perfume that has meaning. I like the fact that it’s fresh and light. I am very particular about perfumes, and Idôle smells absolutely beautiful and I love it,” said the actress.
The musky chypre floral fragrance, was created by three female perfumers, Shyamala Maisondieu, Adriana Medina and Nadège Le Garlantezec , which speaks to the scents femininity and the girl power confidence you’ll feel while wearing it.
Idôle will be available for purchase August 22.
