What do Maya Rudolph, Kenan Thompson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kym Whitley all have in common? They all will make sure that Adam Sandler’s new Halloween flick is sure to be pretty damn funny.
According to reports, Adam Sandler will continue his Netflix partnership with a yet to be titled Halloween comedy featuring just about all of his Hollywood friends, including the cast of characters above.
It doesn’t just stop there. Aside from Rudolph, Thompson, O’Neal, and Whitley, the Sandler project also features Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, June Squibb, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, Rob Schneider, Mikey Day, Melissa Villaseñor, Lavell Crawford, Betsy Sodaro, George Wallace, and Steve Buscemi, Deadline reports.
The film is about a guy named Hubie Dubois (Sandler, presumably) who lives in Salem, Massachusetts, and loves his town’s “legendary Halloween celebration” so much that he’s become a “figure of mockery for kids and adults alike.” However, “something really is going bump in the night” this year, and “it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.”
No release date has been set for the new Sandler film, yet. Do you plan to tune in?
