Andre 3000 has always been known for his unique and elevated taste in fashion so it makes sense that he’s officially teaming up with Swedish sneaker brand Tretorn.
According to WWD, the label is enlisting 3000 to draw in the millennial crowd that sees him as a mainstay and someone who isn’t the “flavor of the month.”

“It was very serendipitous,” says Nick Woodhouse, ABG’s president and chief marketing officer. “We wanted to work with Andre because he resonates with all ages and he’s an OG. He’s not a flavor of the month. There are a lot of terrific, young influencers out there, but Andre is established. These young kids are reaching out to him to collaborate. That’s why we did this.”
The rapper will design a capsule collection of footwear set to hit stores in 2018 and appear in the brand’s global campaign for fall celebrating the 50th anniversary of their popular Nylite sneaker.
We’re just happy we’ll be seeing more of Andre 3000 come fall 2017.
