Angela Rye and her family have much to celebrate this holiday season, including a milestone birthday for her grandmother. 

The 38-year-old attorney and CNN political analyst took a pause from her weekly appearances on CNN and other numerous programs for the holiday season to spend a little quality time with her family.

In addition to celebrating Christmas, Rye’s family also came together for their family reunion and her grandmother Anna Belle’s 100th birthday celebration. She took to Twitter to share a few snaps from the gathering with her followers.

The fearless trailblazer also shared additional photos from the evening on her Instagram page, which included several beautiful images of herself, her mother and her grandmother, who represent 3 generations.

Amanda Booz recently hit the red carpet at the 18th Annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards courtesy of smartwater alkaline with antioxidants® to discover how simple fashion choices make a big impact.

As a multi-skilled journalist, producer, and lifestyle blogger, Amanda knows just how to get celebs talking about their beauty and style. Meeting up on the smartwater alkaline with antioxidants® stage, she got some great advice from some very stylish stars.

When asked how to keep your look refreshed, singer and actress Kat Graham said it starts from the inside out. “Staying hydrated and taking care of your body and your skin,” she says. “You can have all the fashion in the world but if you’re not healthy, it will show.” Actress and choreographer Brandee Evans, agreed noting that staying moisturized was key and digital beauty creator Jackie Aina added that looking fresh and fine starts with a shower!
