Aretha Franklin's Assets Were Stolen Before Her Death
Police are searching for someone who stole from the late Queen of Soul.

Michigan law enforcement officials are said to be investigating the theft of legend Aretha Franklin’s assets before she died last year.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the police are searching for the person who was inappropriately using her funds. The initial report is said to have been filed last June.
It is is not clear how much money has been stolen.
This news comes after it was reported that Franklin has left almost $8 million worth of tax debt.
Even though court documents showed that the Queen of Soul the specifics of her tax debt, her estate claimed they had already paid at least $3 million in back taxes to the IRS since Franklin’s death in August from pancreatic cancer.
Her estate is currently being audited by the IRS.
Despite the legal and police issues, the world will continue to celebrate Franklin in an upcoming all-star special that will tape this Sunday in Los Angeles, and include appearances from Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Patti LaBelle and many more.
