Ayesha Curry tweeted about a troubling incident that occurred during a recent playoff game, in which a Houston Rockets fan bumped into her pregnant stomach on purpose.
According to a tweet left by the celebrity chef, who is currently pregnant with her husband Stephen Curry’s third child, she was harassed throughout the game by the fan. Her tweet was in response to a video of the fan, who can be seen hecklin her.
She wrote: “The fact that you have the audacity to post this after this man bumped me in my 8-month pregnant belly asking and I quote ‘doesn’t losing feel like getting punched in the gut?’ And continued to follow me and taunt me with his camera is beyond me…but ‘This is America’ right.”
Hours later, she hopped back on Twitter to clarify what happened, according to USA Today.
“I thought it was an accident at first because it was crowded and then he made that gut comment and continued to follow me,” she wrote. “I should’ve got him in the face instead of saving his life by removing the cigarette he was swinging around in my face. Wish there was full footage.”
The Golden State Warriors, her husband’s team, lost game 5 of the Western Conference final series against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
In February, Curry announced via Instagram that she was expecting her third child. She is also mom to daughters Riley Curry, 5, and Ryan Curry, 2.
