Ayesha Curry is continuing to perfect the recipe for the classy clapback.
The cookbook author and mother of three is still receiving criticism over admitting to her insecurities about receiving โzero male attentionโ while enduring โwomen throwing themselvesโ at her NBA superstar husband of nearly eight years, Stephen Curry, on a recent episode of Red Table Talk.
After posting a picture with her husband, praising their mothers on Motherโs Day, one critic hopped into her comments, but Ayesha wasnโt here for it.
The caption for the photo read, โOur mamas gave us common sense and thatโs not common. Thank you mamas we love you!โ
Not long after the picture was uploaded a snarky comment appeared. โAttention at its finest,โ it read.
โThis is exactly what I mean. Speaking without examining the true context for yourself,โ Ayesha responded. โDonโt read the headlines. Watch the show. Everyoneโs gone crazy and my husband and I are over here sober as a gopher because I know what I said.โ
Ayesha reminded everyone that she was clear about not actually wanting any other men and that her honesty was actually proof of her security in her union.
โDonโt need it, donโt want it. Just an observation. Willingness to speak on your thoughts unashamedly is being secure. Not the other way around. That part,โ she added.
Stephen also came to his wifeโs defense last week after the severe backlash she received, writing on Instagram that he was โproudโ of his wifeโs vulnerability. He added, โKeep being you. I love you.โ
