If you thought you’d be able to end 2016 without any further drama, you thought wrong.
Two of the biggest fan bases, the BeyHive and Rihanna Navy, are going at it after Rihanna liked a post on Instagram accusing the Grammys of not nominating her for more categories because they didn’t want her to tie or surpass Beyoncé.
Both Rihanna and Beyoncé’s comments are now being bombarded with emojis corresponding to their allegiance, including bees, red balloons, lemons, and anchors.
Rihanna has since tried to squash the nonexistent beef, telling fans that she didn’t actually read the caption. She tweeted, “Thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over! I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary!”

Hopefully, fans listen to RiRi and chill with all the drama: “We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!”
