Over the weekend, Queen Bey took a break and celebrated her birthday with an epic Soul Train themed party that included guests like Usher, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, Chance the Rapper, and Lala and Carmelo Anthony as well as Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Everyone looked flawless in their 70s garb with Bey and Jay dancing the night away. Blue Ivy even hopped on the mic at one point to wish her mom a happy birthday, later sneaking a piece of cake while her mom thanked everyone for coming to the party.

Prior to the big bash, Beyoncé thanked fans for their birthday day wishes, writing, “I am so fortunate to have the love and support of my family, my friends, and my hive. We’ve grown up together and you guys continue to inspire and motivate me everyday. I’m so grateful for every challenge, every smile, every tear, every discovery, every sacrifice, every triumph, every stretch mark, every kiss, every scar. I strive to make you proud. I love YOOOUUUU!!!”

The singer was also serenaded by Chance the Rapper during the Made In America Festival as she watched the rapper perform, looking a bit shy as she listened to his awesome rendition of the birthday song.
Seems like Bey’s birthday couldn’t have been any better. Hopefully, our invitation won’t get lost in the mail next year.
