Tina Knowles Larson is so far keeping mum about her new grandchildren, but one thing’s clear: She’s really happy.
Beyoncé‘s mom even posted a short video to Instagram Saturday night that proved it.
“Hi, I’m in New York having a ball,” she says in the clip before flashing a wide smile and waving at the camera She captioned the video “In New York for my friends son’s wedding! God lets things happen in his time not ours! Don’t try to rush him!”
She posted around the same time that a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Beyoncé and Jay Z welcomed their twins.
Lawson, 63, was clearly in a celebratory mood this weekend. On Friday night she and her husband of two years, Richard Lawson, enjoyed a night out on Friday, donning ’70s duds for a disco-themed bash to celebrate friend A.C. Collins’ birthday.
In April, Lawson told reporters she was “so excited” for the twins’ arrival: “I can’t wait.” She also praised Beyoncé for the way she’s parented daughter Blue Ivy, 5. “She’s a really good mom,” Lawson said at the time. “Really patient and kind.”
While Lawson hasn’t commented on the twins’ arrival, her ex-husband (and Beyoncé’s father) Mathew Knowles shared the news on Twitter on Sunday.
“They’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday,” he wrote on Twitter. He included a shot of a photo of balloons that was signed “love, granddad.”
