• Jay Z and Beyoncé are switching things up for the month of December. According to the rapper’s Life + Times blog, the couple will go vegan for 22 days. “Psychologist have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit,” wrote Jay Z. “On the 22nd day you’ve found the way. On December 3, one day before my 44th birthday, I will embark on a 22 day challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant based!” He says the idea originated months ago when a friend encouraged him to have a plant-based breakfast. Despite his new diet for the coming weeks, Jay Z is unsure if he’ll stick to it in 2014. “I don’t know what happens after Christmas,” he wrote. “A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We’ll see.” [Life + Times]
