Empire stars Trai Byers is celebrating his wife, co-star Grace Gealey‘s, birthday and he isn’t holding back in sharing just how much he loves her.
To help bring in her 33rd birthday, Trai devoted an Instagram post to telling the world why his wife is a queen.
“I love you my Queen. I call you Queen because that’s what you are… simply, subtly, elegantly, magnanimously,” he shares. “You use the kingdom of your heart to house others -The crown on your head to show humility, that it takes a humbling of self, a servant, to truly represent nobility -The shimmering gown of you to reveal that the most beautiful clothes you will ever possess can never be be judged from the outside, but the inside.”
He then describes how proud he is of her and how much her black girl magic motivates him each and every day.
The post comes a week after Grace shared a loving poem dedicated to Trai. Can you feel the love? We do.
The couple’s birthdays are just a week apart and they truly know how to celebrate each other by holding absolutely nothing back.
Trai and Grace have been enjoying their summer visiting family and enjoying the beach while gearing up for their next season on Empire.
