It’s always refreshing to see couples weather the storms and make it work. These famous pairs filed for divorce then changed their minds and decided to reconcile. From Scottie and Larsa Pippen’s recent announcement that they’re calling off their divorce to Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus decision years ago to stay married, these couple stuck it out and changes their minds about ending their marriages.
Black-ish star Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart gave love another chance in January 2017. Stewart filed for divorce in September 2015 but at the top of the New Year, the once high school sweethearts announced they were ready to work on their marriage once again. Anderson and Stewart tied the knot in 1999 and have two children together.
Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus have dealt with their fair share of ups and downs in love and marriage. In 2004, they once contemplated parting ways but the parents of three eventually reconciled. The California natives were high school sweethearts and tied the knot in 1997. Almost 20 years later, they are still going strong!
ATL’s very own Big Boi and his wife Sherlitta Patton once wanted to call it quits but decided to ultimately give love another go. In 2013, Patton filed for divorce stating that her marriage to the OutKast member was “irretrievably broken” but by May of 2014, the two were back to being love birds having kissed and made up in time for Mother’s Day. Since then, things between them have been so fresh and so clean.
In 2011, it might have seemed that NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa were retiring their own marriage but to ring in the New Year of 2013, the two decided to call of their divorce and give their wedded commitment another shot. Since then, it’s been nothing but net for the proud parents of now 3—the Bryants welcomed their third daughter, Bianka Bella, in December.
In October 2016, Scottie Pippen took the plunge and filed for divorce from his wife of 19 years, Larsa. The retired NBA star and his wife, who once appeared on The Real Housewives of Miami, married in 1997 and welcomed four children during their union. Nearly a year later, in October 2017, it was announced that the pair called off their split. According to TMZ, both Scottie and Larsa to dismiss the divorce case after moving to Los Angeles together in September. It looks like these two are a dream team after all!
