Every year Jackie and Doug Christie renew their vows, and this year for their 20th anniversary, the couple celebrated in the biggest way.
The Christies let the Basketball Wives LA cameras film their 20th marriage renewal, which was featured on the season finale of the VH1 reality show.
The surprise wedding had viewers shed a few #BlackLove tears as the beautiful moment played out on Sunday night’s episode. In honor of the wedding episode, the couple also shared cute throwback photos from their marriage on Twitter.

Doug, who is a retired NBA star, surprised Jackie during her girls trip to Portugal.

While enjoying a tour of the Pena National Palace with her castmates, she later discovers her prince and her children waiting for her at the altar. Doug and their children planned every detail of the surprise wedding down to her dress and makeup.
The couple was married in 1996 just three days after the NBA player proposed to Jackie. Since then, they’ve survived 15 seasons of Doug playing in the NBA and 5 seasons of reality television.
