We really love when celebrities share their own tea on Twitter.
Most recently, Solange revealed a gem of a new detail about how she met her husband Alan Ferguson.
On Monday afternoon, the Grammy-award winning songstress shared that nearly a decade ago, Janelle Monae (our 2017 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Honoree and a 6-time Grammy-nominee) played matchmaker for her and the music video director.
Who knew!?

And, Monae wasn’t the only matchmaker on duty. The Dirty Computer singer, along with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz played a hand in introducing the two, who later married in a gorgeous New Orleans ceremony in November 2014.

After tying the knot, the youngest of the Knowles sisters and her hubby collaborated artistically when he directed the music videos for “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky” from the singer’s third studio album, A Seat At The Table.
We guess we have Janelle–and Pete–to thank for the beautiful connection.
