Singer Kenny Lattimore has found love again, and we couldn’t be happier for him! The R&B singer, who has kept a relatively low profile over the years, is engaged to Judge Faith Jenkins. The couple shared the news on Instagram and gave a heartfelt dedication to the love they have found in each other.
In a beautiful post, Lattimore sings his fiancée praises. “Faith, I am forever grateful to God for His faithfulness in sending me you,” he writes. “To say you are the total package is a vast understatement. You are powerful and passionate about life and yet your presence brings me so much peace. Your drive and ambition never cease to amaze me and your heart is filled with love & empathy for others. Everything you do on and off tv is done with dignity and grace – it’s why you’re an inspiration to so many, including me.
He continues: “I posted my song ‘Deserve’ last week as it says everything about us that I feel. ‘We have something so rare … you don’t deserve the wait any longer. I’m ready to make you mine forever.’ I’m honored you said YES to our forever! “
Jenkins also shared the engagement news on her page, thanking Lattimore for his character. “Kenny: you are one of the kindest, most genuine souls on the planet,” she writes. “I’ve never met anyone like you. In a world where I was told my standards were too high, you came in my life from day one & exceeded them all! You made me thankful that I refused to settle. You showed me the essence & integrity of true love.”
Mr. Lattimore wasn’t lying when he said his fiance has the beauty and the brains. Ms. Jenkins has some impressive receipts. The attorney previously held the title of Miss Louisiana and has built an impressive career as prosecutor and legal commentator. Currently, she stars in her own nationally syndicated court TV show called Judge Faith.
Lattimore was previously married to singer Chante Moore in 2002. The couple released two collaborative albums before their split in 2011. They share one son named Kenny, Jr.
The engagement news from Lattimore and Jenkins comes as a surprise since no one even knew they were dating. It seems keeping their relationship under wraps was strategic for the stability of their relationship. The couple revealed that they sought pre-engagement council from several members of their church and from fellow couple Devon Franklin and Megan Good.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
