The Harts are getting past the recent controversy surrounding their marriage, and moving on.
Nothing is stopping Kevin Hart from showering his wife Eniko Parrish with love and appreciation.
On Wednesday, the actor, comedian and devoted family man took to social media to shower his wife with praise.
“Thanking God for this beautiful strong woman that I am lucky enough to still be calling my wife today. You are truly amazing….Love you. #WCW #WCE#MyF—–gRib #Harts,” he wrote in a caption.
The Harts wed in August of 2016 and are currently expecting their first child together — a son they plan to name Kenzo.
While their love story may have looked picture perfect on social media (their recent baby shower included), the couple’s 14-month union was put to the test in September when news broke that the highest paid comedian in the world was being extorted over his alleged involvement in a sexually suggestive video. The 38-year-old publicly apologized to his wife and children, Heaven and Hendrix, and authorities stepped in to investigate the matter.
Although Parrish has accepted his heartfelt and sincere apologies and remained positive in anticipation of the arrival of their child, the public has not been so quick to forgive the Philadelphia native and Hart is addressing it head on.
“P.S please feel free to insert your hate below…,” he continued in his caption. “[I’m] as strong as it gets people so that s–t doesn’t phase me. Im not a b—h which is why my page isn’t private. I hope your negativity makes your day better. Love ya.”
The parents-to-be appear to be looking past the incident and forward to their future with their baby boy.
