The Curry family has had an incredible summer with Steph adding another NBA Championship home as well as a new baby, but this weekend all eyes were on his sister, Sydel Curry as she jumped to broom and married her sweetheart Damion Lee.
The couple met five years ago after four dates in five days but on September 1, 2018 they promised each other forever in front of their family and friends in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Unlike most brides, Sydel did not feel nervous or anxious, but calm and ready to day her “I dos,” according to her Instagram post dedicated to her new husband. The bride and groom each shared a post dedicated to the commitment of forever.
The groom shared, “I have been waiting on this day all of my life. GOD brought us together at a time when he knew that we both needed each other most. To be able to go through this journey with you has been nothing short of amazing. I will never forget seeing you walking down the aisle, tears running down my face, knowing that we will be with each other for the rest of our lives.”
The couple hosted their wedding at the Charlotte Marriott City Center where Sydel’s brothers Seth and Steph not only welcomed her new husband to the family but served as groomsmen.
