It’s been one year since Tank (real name Durrell Babbs) and Zena Foster tied the knot in a lavish Los Angeles wedding. Based on their social media, the love is still strong as the day they said: “I do.”
The 12-minute wedding video, filmed by wedding videographer Luv In Flying Colors, opens with gospel singer Kim Burrell singing a powerful solo at the couple’s ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. The footage continues with shots of Tank and Foster getting dressed for their big day as the narrator recites 1 Corinthians, verse 13. “No matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love,” the scripture reads. Umm…who started cutting onions?
As if their heartwarming wedding video didn’t have us all the way in our feelings, the newlyweds dedicated some Insta-love to one another. “Happy Anniversary my lady,” Tank captioned a photo of himself and his wife. “I love you with all my heart. I pray i’m able to provide all the sexy, fun, and understanding you’ll ever need. We ride together, we die together, Babbs To The Bone for life.”
Foster returned the love with a post of her own. “Happy Anniversary to my BFF,” she writes. “Thank you for loving me the way you do!”
Foster also shared some fun snapshots from their wedding day, reminding her hubby, “You got 1 job babe 1… keep me smiling forever.”
Tank and Zena originally met 19 years ago. After separating for a time, they reunited and got engaged in January 2017. The couple swapped vows before 200 guests in Los Angeles over the weekend with their daughter, Zoey, 11, and son Zion, 4, participating in the ceremony. Tank also has three children from previous relationships: two daughters, Ryan and Jordan, and a son named Durrell Jr.
According to their Instastories, Zena and Tank are currently spending their anniversary in Capri, Italy. Congrats you two!
