Mother and daughter duo Ayoka and Haj Chenzira team up for Funnel Cake Flowers and the Urban Chameleons, a live performance filled with comedy, dance and a hilariously relateable script debuting at the New York International Fringe Festival. Directed by Ayoka, the Division Chair for the Arts and Humanities at Spelman College, and starring her daughter Haj, the stage show focuses on the typical story of a person of color who camflouges into white corporate America during the day, but returns to her P.O.C roots at night. This is sure to be one performance to remember.
