Bobby Brown has offered to help Nick Gordon’s girlfriend, Laura Leal, following the abuse she reportedly endured due to the 29 year old.
Brown, whose late daughter Bobbi Kristina is the ex of Gordon, told US Weekly that he hopes to contact Leal through his foundation, Bobbi Kristina Serenity House.
Brown said, “I personally would like to extend my hand to Ms. Leal and offer her services through our organization. I do not want to see any more families destroyed at the hands of domestic violence.”
The R&B singer formed the organization in 2015 with a mission to “empower girls and women of all ages to learn about the perils of domestic violence” and provide services to victims of domestic violence.
Gordon was arrested in Florida on Saturday after police answered a call about a disturbance. Cops observed that Leal had a slightly swollen and bloody lip when they arrived.
“Domestic violence killed my daughter and on March 4, 2018, the Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House held our first event to strike back at domestic violence,” Brown stated. “I do not want any more women to suffer like my daughter did. We are here to assist and we hope to hear from Ms. Leal.”
