They’ll never learn, will they?
It seems as though Ashley Darby’s husband has been suspended from filming “The Real Housewives of Potomac” after being charged with sexual assault. According to TMZ, Bravo and the show’s production company, Truly Original stopped shooting scenes with him after RHOP’ cameraman Orville Palmer claimed his butt was grabbed and groped by Darby on September 1st while shooting an episode.
Bravo and Truly Original issued statements of their immediate action against Darby, “Bravo has comprehensive policies and guidelines relating to the safety of cast and crew which production companies are required to follow, in addition to their own protocols they have in place,” Bravo said in a statement. “We take all allegations seriously and then proceed accordingly with our producing partners. Bravo and Truly Original, the production company for ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ have suspended filming with Michael Darby.”
According to WRC-TV, Darby was charged with one count of second-degree assault and one count of fourth-degree sexual contact. He is facing a maximum of 11 years in prison if convicted.
Truly Original says it launched an internal review immediately after Palmer’s allegations, and “took all appropriate steps to ensure the safe working environment for everyone associated with the production.”
