Cardi B has really had the biggest glo up of the year. And, on Sunday, the reality star turned rapper performed at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show.
After her stellar performance, the rapper gave a shout out to NFL player and activist Colin Kaepernick, who has been sidelined since the NFL blackballed the former San Francisco 49er. “Colin Kaepernick, as long as you kneel for us, we ‘gon be standing for you, baby,” Cardi said.
Celebrities and fans have thrown tons of support behind Kaepernick with many rallying outside the NFL headquarters last Wednesday.
Cardi also addressed rumors that she and Offset, a member of rap trio Migos, are engaged, telling Charlamagne tha God, “I’m a woman, I think every woman wants to get married and have children. It ain’t never too early to get married now! If you want to propose to me you can.”
A breakout hit single, the ultimate glo up and possibly an engagement on the horizon? Everything’s looking good for Cardi.
